  • Who can own and live at Stone Creek?

    • Occupied homeowners need to be age 55 or older per the Federal Fair Housing Act.

  • How much is the Homeowner's association fee and what does the fee cover?

    • The one time initiation fee is $250. The monthly Homeowner's Association Fee is $290. This includes lawn care, snow removal, club house, landscaping, sprinkler system, garbage service, maintenance of common areas and exterior home maintenance, repair and replacement.

  • Who manages the homeowner's association?

    • It is currently managed by the developers. The management of the association will ultimately be transferred to homeowners in February 2023.

  • What is the total number of homes available at The Homes of Stone Creek? How many duplexes and how many single-family?

    • There are 72 homes total at The Homes of Stone Creek. There are 56 single family homes and 8 attached homes.

  • What is the average lot size?

    • The largest lot size available is 18,289 SF, but the lots start at 7,560 SF to accommodate less maintenance for you.

  • Will there be any spec homes built?

    • Yes, we typically have one spec or model home under construction and for sale at any time.  

  • What is inside the clubhouse?

    • There is a kitchen, community gathering space card room, library, exercise room, and screen porch. We want this to be the center of The Homes of Stone Creek community where residents can come to interact and socialize with one another.

  • What is the standard ceiling height of the homes? Are other ceiling heights available?

    • The standard ceiling height is 9 ft. Other ceiling heights can be customized to the owner's desire.

  • Why is the egress window as low as it is, and why do you have a ladder in the window well?

    • Per code, the window has to be within 43" from the floor and the ladder is present to allow for emergency exit.

  • Who is responsible for landscaping the homes? Do homeowners have input on the landscaping?

    • Landscaping is included in the cost of the home. Yes, homeowners will have input on the landscaping.

  • Can homeowners add to the landscaping?

    • That will depend on whether it creates additional maintenance work.

  • Are in-ground pools allowed? Are fences allowed?

    • In-ground pools are allowed on certain lots. Fences will be allowed based on special circumstances.

  • Are pets allowed?

    • Of course!

  • Will monthly fees go up? If so, how often will they go up?

    • Possibly.  After much consideration, the fees were raised in early 2021 for the first time since 2013.  We will continue to work hard to keep costs the same and minimize future increases. 

  • Will Buraski Builders be involved in the homeowner's association?

    • Yes, Buraski Builders will be involved until construction of The Homes of Stone Creek community is complete.

  • When will construction in Phase Three begin?

    • Home construction is planned to start in Fall 2022.  Phase Three will consist of 20 single family home lots and 2 lots consisting of four attached homes.​
